Receiver Hitch Tubes

Vest’s  TRAILER HITCH Tube

All tubes are manufactured to meet or exceed ASTM-A-500 Grade B specifications.

It is important to remember that all dimensions are taken from beyond 2” of each end of tube and make no allowances for end conditions, such as burrs or clamp marks, or post production coatings, such as paints or powder coating.

Some applications require the insertion of either a solid square bar or a very light walled tube which may have very sharp outside corners.  In these instances it is important to test for fit before beginning any fabrication.  Vest’s “Hitch Tubes” are tested with a go/no-go gauge to accept a bare insert measuring 2.030” x  2.030” with a 1/4” corner radius.

Vest does manufacture 2” x  2” Structural Tube in both 3/16” & 1/4” walls that are guaranteed to fit the Vest “Hitch Tube”.  Special runs of 11 gauge product can also be ordered, with minimum quantities, by contacting our Sales Office. (Rev. 4/7/2017)
